The most popular steel system without thermal insulation is the MET PROF system. It consists of system steel sections made of galvanized steel. Its main application is in buildings that do not require high thermal insulation parameters: unheated halls, industrial buildings, or as internal doors. The depth of the sections is 50 mm. Unlike other systems, MET PROF is made of 2mm thick steel strip, which provides greater profile stiffness and allows for the construction of structures with larger dimensions. As the only system, it has a flat mounting strip, which allows for the use of panels up to 42 mm thick, with a profile depth of 50 mm.
Distinguishing features
- 2mm wall thickness profiles
- Systematic rebate for the mounting strip
- System hinges matched to the rebate
- Groove for 24 x 3 mm lock, allows for the use of strip locks
- Flat mounting strip
Possible fillings
- sandwich panel 42 mm thick
- segmental gate panel
- 40 mm sandwich panel
- insulated glass
- single glass
- systematic blind
- louver blind
Do you already know other steel systems?
- Steel or aluminum hook mounted without screws, bolts, etc., thanks to the appropriate rebate in the profiles
- Groove for the lock faceplate with dimensions of 24 mm
- Profiles made of 2mm galvanized strip, corrosion protected also inside
- System hinges and a system ventilation blind
